This weekend I joined a bunch of other Interior Design students at the IIDA Oregon Student Symposium in Portland! It was so much fun connecting with professional designers and getting their first hand advice on portfolios, interviews, materials, sourcing, etc. It was also really great to make connections with other students that have similar passions in design as me!

We also got a chance to take home material samples from KrowdSourced, and let me just say… my bag was HEAVY full of samples. I’m adding all these samples to my own personal collection of material samples for material palette exploration! It’s always nice getting my hands on new samples I haven’t seen before, and I can’t wait to build some palettes with these.
